Customize the Descriptor Labels for Your Members

Have a unique label for your members that you want to consistently classify? For example, instead of Organizations, they're family, company, clubs, institutions, etc. Membee allows you to use your own labels to describe people and organizations in a way that makes sense to you.

Labels Used For Records

These labels are what we call ‘descriptors’. It’s the terminology you use to describe the members and records you track inside of Membee.

While the default is “People” and “Organizations“, using those labels might not fit or describe your member-base accurately. That’s where you come in to make it better suited.

Labels You Can Customize

In Membee, you can change the label used for three different types of descriptor terminology:

  • Organization: Single & Plural Form

  • Employer: Single & Plural Form

  • Contact: Single & Plural Form

For the three different types of descriptors, here are some samples that may apply to your organization:
